The home of Firespark! is the Brenau University Campus. Students are housed in air conditioned college dormitories and sorority houses, supervised by an all adult housing staff. Many of our staff are regular teachers in the public school system and parents themselves. Students are normally housed two students per room and grouped by age. If you know someone else who is attending and would like to room together, we will try to honor your request. Don't worry if you don't know anyone else attending--most students don't. On the first night we have several "ice breaking" activities, and our goal is that you will have made several new friends before going to bed.
Classes
Students are responsible for attending all classes and activities and abiding by the camp rules and regulations so that we may provide a safe, pleasant and creative learning environment for all. We try to treat students with love and respect and expect the same in return.
Entertainment
As part of student tuition, Firespark! is happy to provide quality, professional and educational entertainment from local artists in the areas of theatre, improv, music and dance. The following professional companies are scheduled to make an appearance in July at Firespark! 2009. See the Who's Playing Firespark!
Meals
Meals take place in the Hopkins dining hall and offer a variety of choices. The cafeteria offers vegetarian selections at every meal. If you would like to contact dining services please click here to visit their webpage.
